Reblog: Tikkun Olam– How To Help Our World To Heal

Mother Earth has gone through a few years of convalescing; we've been on the mend from our careless ways as well. But you must agree, this is hardly enough time to heal entirely. The purpose of this short article is twofold; one is to offer you my humble attempt of releasing you from guilt, and the other, to introduce you to a practice called Tikkun Olam. Let's make it Earth Day every day.

Memories Kept Alive to Remind me of Summers of Long Ago

In Belize, there is only one season. Hot. And when that’s all you know about you do not complain. I never complained. Never. But, as I got older I became curious when at the end of the year I started noticing a pattern. First came the migrating birds and shortly after the migrating tourists. They landed on our shores; their pale faces a sure indication that they weren’t getting enough sun.
