GloPoWriMo 2023, Day 12: To My Dear Little Poem
A poem for my poem that I hope you come to enjoy.
A poem for my poem that I hope you come to enjoy.
Tuning in to the right radio station: Don't touch that dial... so it goes, and so it goes.
Let's pretend I know how to write a sea shanty. #napowrimo2023 #seashanty
Wellaneba! This exercise took me into a nightmare state, like when I had a fever as a child. In my delirium, I hallucinated. This twenty little poetry project felt like that to me. Good or bad? Hard to say... It wowed me.
A sonnet for you on day seven of NaPoWriMo, friends. It's about our attachments to things more than about a hat. I hope you find the sonnet to your liking. Happy Writing and reading.
Today's prompt is much larger than me! I felt right away I was witnessing something beautiful. And I remembered Mary Oliver... Then decided to return to a previous prompt I missed. Please read. Off prompt #napowrimo #glopowrimo
Yesterday's post: I Will Not Yield Today's post: I Yielded -- Please come to read my second triolet. Thanks. Or scroll down to view my spring photos.
My first triolet-- I like it. Today, let me tell you about the place I will not yield/surrender, even if that place is only in memory now. Happy Writing.
Select a shortish poem you like, and rewrite each line, replacing each word (or as many words as you can) with words that mean the opposite. I consulted with Mr. Blake on this one. Hope you like it.
Vice and Virtue in a surrealist poem. Let me know how you liked it. Thanks.
Happy first day of NaPoWriMo 2023, dear friends. Hope you're ready to start your engines. Let's do this. Huzzah!
