I offer you an Abhanga: written in any number of 4-lined stanzas with 6-6-6-4 syllables each. Lines 2 and 3 rhyme resulting in a xAAx scheme. The poem needs a title.
Please don't sink inside your cereal bowl. Similarly, don't let the negativity of the world submerge you. You're smarter than all the sham.
I felt it was time I dedicated one for all sons all over the world in praise of fathers, step fathers, father figures all over the world. I know this is a shared prayer. You have no sons? Feel free to insert that person who lives in your heart. I bless you.
