Show Me The Way To Go Home #photoprompt #tankatuesday

Home is Evergreen

field roads suffused in white
lead to all directions
where are the connections
home’s evergreen

Hello, Colleen. Hello, Tanka-Tuesday-ers. A Happy New Year to everyone. May this year
be the merriest, brightest, and calmest for everyone on earth.

What a lovely photo you present us at Wordcraftpoetry for Tanka Tuesday Weekly, Colleen. Thanks.

Today I offer you an Abhanga.
You know the drill, my lovelies: written in any number of 4-lined stanzas with 6-6-6-4 syllables each– lines 2 and 3 rhyme resulting in a xAAx scheme. The poem needs a title, so I’ve titled it Home is Evergreen.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you liked it.
Blessings and miracles are yours.

p.s. I’m writing a lot of winter-warmth poetry this month for your enjoyment. I hope you
have time to linger a bit to browse. Bless you.
