’24 Contemplations: Quadrille #196–Let’s Have a Slumber Party!

swaggering in proper
regalia arrives Spring
rousing us to a
time of enlivening
the kaleidoscope
of hues beguiling
where only yesterday
snow lay slumbering
now crocuses from
hilltops cascading
the colors seeping in
like full moons exploding
readying one and all,
and fecundity imprinting
