hold still
for a moment
wide-eyed give out your hand
wrap firm legs around it
that wild vision
recall
let loose
sharpened senses
your lovely pilgrim soul
in sweven find purpose
fairies guide you
freedom

As you can see, I’ve been writing a lot of poetry and experimenting with different styles. I’m loving it so much that I long to learn how to do it better. Yup, me.
Recently, a blogger introduced me to a welcoming community she visits often. I looked and was wowed by everyone. Perhaps I can contribute and learn something too. We’ll see.
If you’re interested, perhaps you’d like to take a peek? Here’s the link: wordcraftpoetry website.
The way I understand the ‘rules’– the prompt this month is “Dreams” and this being the second week of the month, it calls for #SynonymsOnly. What you read today is referred to as the Badger Hexastitch poetry form– my first attempt, composed for the challenges of Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday. Let’s see how it goes. Wish me well, please.

We’re days away from the vernal equinox, which will officially mark spring, but it already feels and looks like spring here in Japan. So if you don’t mind, I want to wish you a happy spring already.
Be safe, wherever you are.

Dear Selma,
I landed today 16 Feb 2022 at ‘You don’t need permission to envision’ and it feels like yet another homecoming, here looking out at the drizzle and listening to Celtic music with a vegan dinner in my tummy and a deep contented longing in my heart. Thank you for your miracle weaving!
I vow to envision to the end of my days { hug }
A homecoming? Like that? Aww, What lovely words you gifted me. I want to believe something here helped to bring that contentment. Stay lovely.
Envision to the end. Yes! I bless you. 😚 🤗
