Where There is Light, There is Hope: Keep Your Dreams Alive

A Haiga, written for Frank J. Tassone, the top American Haijin at Haikai Poetry Matters Website for haikai challenge II.

This week, write the haikai poem of your choice (haiku, senryu, tanka, kyoka, haibun, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to either Little New Year (koshoogatsu), Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, waxing moon, or light in darkness.

As always:

1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. pingback by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributors’ posts.

I think throughout the ‘calendar’ year we can count on various ‘new years’ to help us restart!
    We haven’t seen the sun for a bit – it’s ‘No-noing’ again 😉

Hope you feel the sun on your skin soon. Blessings, Jules.

No sun today, another snow storm on the way…

Sounds like Winter. Typical winter. Hang on, my sweet.

More snow so far this year than in the last three or five… I’m sure some folks would have liked some of this in December.

At least the plows have come through and all of yesterday’s (Friday pretty much all day) snow has stopped. And the sun is out.

            Cheers for the sun! 🙂

At least the sun is out – for the moment.
                Our high will be zero!

I may bundle up to top off the feeders 🙂

Yes it is, Lauren. Forgive the typo—it happens sometimes.
Hope your day wasn’t ruined by it.
Blessing on your evening, Lauren 💕
