It hasn’t snowed in my area this year yet. And so I dug into last year’s photos when we got our first icing of the year on the last day of Christmas, Epiphany. From the Three Kings, yup– all 6 centimeters in one evening! Please enjoy these poems nestled in my happy place.
When you miss the novelty of snow, you don't turn your nose at the hard work of shoveling. That was the beauty of it yesterday. We were a happy bunch.
Today is the last day of Christmas, Epiphany, as I know it, and guess what we got from the Three Kings? Snow-- all 6 centimeters of it! The first of the season in these areas.
These things I remember, and I remember them well: Father brought us white Christmases to revel and to boast, and Mother brought us Christmases to last forever.
