Hey, India—How Does 40% OFF Sound To You?
A young friend from India asked me for a link, so I went to investigate and happened on the news that the book was at 40% off priced. Good news...

I was inspired to write a response to this lovely picture prompt, and I base it on the fact that my dear husband, my breadwinner, is close to ending his years of braving it out in society's wild land. Let me know what you think about what I see & how I used the prompt.
It's my birthday week, friends. I've seen the tiger-zodiac circle 'round five times. How very cool, huh? Methinkso. So, I chose humor & weighty wisdom by Dorothy Parker. She was collateral wonder, like me...
Maturity is synonymous with optimism. Not the kind we experienced when we were the young ones; the kind that makes us raise a knowing eyebrow. We're ready for the change.
In the pressure cooker of society, we’ve been simmering & our selves have merged with the selves of others in the same pot. Now, we're primed to give back: to Gaia and this generation. The next generations will follow like parallel keys.
The change occurring outwardly does not compare with the inward change that’s leading, making you wiser, showing you new things. Embrace it!
While at puberty we haven’t yet found ourselves & lived through each day with an abundance of energy — which we had no clue what to do with — when the second puberty comes, hopefully, we've found ourselves. Have you? Or are you shaking?
A standing ovation to my friend Deb of nope, not pam website. She blessed us with fantastic illustrations in her A-Z project. To honor her, I'm contributing to letter Z with a photo and poem. Happy Spring, Australia!
Are you happy? Or are you one who thinks that happiness is yet to come to you? Say, after you achieve such and such a thing? Or perhaps you feel that you are not deserving of happiness? That everyone gets a quota on happiness, and since you already experienced some once, you've already met yours. Or perhaps you feel you need to give up something -- which you're not ready to give up yet -- to get you there? Or, and this is the saddest, perhaps you're clinging on to old beliefs, sabotaging you from getting you to that happy place? Here's the thing, you are deserving of happiness.
How about it, dear friends: why don't we try to give prominence to those moments that give us fleeting seconds of wonderment? Let's keep them close as we embark on another year of becoming.
A Repost from April 2021. I present to you a Badger Hexastich syllabic poem that first appeared on Day 2 of NaPoWriMo. With this poem I attempt to shed insight on how I see Robert Frost's poem, The Road Not Taken.
