An Espresso Moment
Saying goodbye to plastic and waste
Saying hello to eco-friendly goods
Sustainable alternatives need to be
ready and available to say hello to me
The inspiration for this post came to me upon opening my computer and as one
who listens, I had to tell you about it because this concerns us all.
For ‘responsible retail therapy,’ here are links to 34 stores
you can access online. For the USA & Canada, Australia & the UK.
For the EU, I found one: Bambaw. But they’re online, so I
imagine they ship globally.
And no, it’s not an oversight that Amazon is not on the list.
As for lists of what we need to free ourselves of, that list is exhaustive.
The items listed in the title are the best I can do right now as far as titles
go. Add to it, please.
As I’ve expressed before, I hope this short espresso did its job and added value.
I’d like everyone who reads to come away feeling
gladdened and revitalized, like when one drinks a
sobering shot of espresso.
Today is the last day of March, this will also be the last Espresso for the
month. And as I expect to be taken up with National Poetry Writing in April, I’ll abstain from Espressos.
But happy with the great response you gave me on these sobering shots,
I’ll be sure to resume them in May.
I understand there are several ways to ‘do’ Na/GloPoWriMo. I will do it by publishing
a-post-a-day here and will try to stick to the prompts that come through the talented
Na/GloPoWriMo’s founder, Maureen Thorson. Please click on the link if you’re
interested, and see you inside.

but only contrary to what we
know about nature.” ~ St. Augustine

Loving this, the synchronicity of your last Expresso of March, friend Selma.
It has rung more bells in me than St Augustine witnessed miracles.
Bless you, and I wish you easefulness, delight, and energy in your April poetry participations.
May the global rivers of responsive and responsible living flow onwards into May, which is “my” month.
May we each witness miracles, and surrender to forgiveness and trust.
Loving you!

Sustainable alternatives is the only way ahead to salvage what is left of our once beautiful planet.
Wishing you a great poetry month with NaPoWriMo. Looking forward to reading them. Love and best wishes Selma 💕
I, too, do my best to be as earth-friendly as possible. Thanks for sharing this message, Selma! 🙂
Thank you for the links, Selma: I agree that we all need to take responsibility for the waste we produce. Furthermore, the plastics we are swamped with are of course a byproduct of the oil industry, which needs to become a thing of the past pretty fast!
Truly an inspiration.. Love it Selma ❤️❤️❤️
Yes, to all of the above. Thanks for the nudge to keep doing better.
