The theme for this month was chosen by Harmony Kent who writes:
From last month’s challenge, I chose the theme for this month: Kindness Did you know November is Kindness month?
I didn’t know this but love knowing. And like I commented to Harmony,
the best part about this is we already come with kindness.
Saying that reminds me of those commercials of yore that boasted an
‘Eveready’ battery– those long-lasting batteries– already included for
reliability inside the device. Do you remember the commercials?
Or the newer one, ‘Intel Inside’ for computers?
Funny. The one for humans would read ‘Kindness Inside!’ and it should
because we seem to have forgotten this crucial fact about our essence.
How very cool– Like ‘ever-ready’ and ‘intel-lect inside’ (puns), we come
with ‘kindness inside!’ Please enjoy the short (what is it, Colleen? *smile)
syllabic poetry that came to me with this in mind.

This post is for Colleen Chesebro’s Word craft: Prose & Poetry and
the knowledge I picked up here today will certainly glide me through
November. Thanks so much.

That’s fantastic. Thanks, Selma 💕🙂
Both so perfect for the theme Selma ❣️
Aww. Sweet of you to read and comment. Thanks so sincerely. Be well.
Lovely Selma, glad you went with kindness 💖 You’re image is giving me winter vibes I’m really loving it as well 😁
Then I chose a good one. I love winter vibes. Oh, and did you notice how the wire-sign spells KINDNESS? That’s why I chose it and I’m glad it also brought you chilly vibes. Be well, Daphny. Stay sweet.
You definitely did 🙂
I just did its so nice and thoughtfull 👌
Be well you too ❤️
Such lovely pieces! May I say, I love your puns. They’re punny!
Sam. you liked my puns? So cool of you. Thanks for supporting me that way. You are too sweet. Stay lovely. Hey, Sam, have you checked you inbox lately? There’s a surprise for you in there. Hope you approve. Thanks for the comment today. xoxo
Yayy! 🤩 Checking right away!
My pleasure 🙏🤍
Yes, indeed, I believe humans come hardwired for kindness. I just finished Humankind, A Hopeful History by Rutger Bergman. His deep research gave me much to ponder and question, but it also reaffirmed my belief in the goodness of humanity. Also, as a lover of puns, well done.
We most certainly do, Kathryn. One has only to see small humans at play to know this. Goodness through and through!
Your book selections are impressive, like you. Thanks for sharing. And puns– gosh, this time I feel like bringing to mind that scene in rainman, where Raymond says to his brother, “Charlie Babbitt made a joke,” haha. Selma made a pun. And Kathryn approved: “Well done,” you said. Aww, friend. Thanks so very much, my sweet. Thanks for the visit.
(oh about THAT question: The 29th!!)
There is an inherent goodness in humanity… if we would just all forget all the political rhetoric and embrace kindness. I think the Dali Lama says it best: “My religion is love.” That’s what we all need is to be more kind and understanding. I’m glad you had fun, Selma. <3
Thanks, Colleen. For the lovely comment and reminder of Dali Lama’s words. And for the twitter share. You rock. So sweet. Be well, dear friend.
Thanks so much, Selma. Keep spreading your joy around. ❤️
We do come with kindness inside 🤗 even if some people have forgotten how to find it!
The virtue gets buried under societal trends, I think. But we need to “make kindness attractive again” — Mr. Fred Rogers words We need to bring it out from within us because we have forgotten we carry it from birth. Thanks for the comment and for all you do to raise awareness of vital issues. I send you sunshine, my friend. Lots of it. xoxo
Sending the same to you Selma 🌞
So kindness humans. So nice words. I like .
Hey, RAJ, so glad you agree and find this one to your liking. Sometimes we forget that we ARE love. Bad and wickedness is all we see from news outlets, but that is really not our essence. We are Love. We carry kindness inside. Let’s all bring it out. Thanks for reading and commenting. I hope you are well in your corner of the world. Stay lovely.
Hi selma,I can’t found one of kind. I like your blog post. I remember u. I always see & read your post. Don’t mind that 🌷
