Poetry: March is The Perfect Tomboy, April’s a Sleepyhead

March is a tomboy with tousled hair,
a mischievous smile, mud on her shoes,
and a laugh in her voice.” ~ Hal Borland

No winter lasts forever, says Hal, “no spring skips its turn.
And just as Hal is saying those words– a rude interruption–
“Alive, alive, it’s good to be alive,” someone sings,
And precisely as Hal was saying,
In struts March
Dragging little April,
Awakened from her nap
But March is on assignment
To see if daffodils,
Tulips, and wildflowers
Have begun to stir,
And once her mission’s over
She’ll give in to idle games.
“Alive, alive, it’s good to be alive,” she sings some more
Then turns to look at April
But, oh, how April yawns!

“April is a promise that May is bound to keep.” Hal Borland

And a book-related announcement that I hope will reach far and wide:

Beyond the Horizon Line, by B. O’ree Williams

My friends, this is what I’ve been reading this week: Beyond the Horizon Line series: \The Sanctuary, and I want you to be the first to know that it’s coming out on Monday, March 15th.

It’s a book written by my very good friend, O’ree Williams whom I appreciate Beyond measures.

The novel tells of Gabriel Kittrich, a world-renowned neuroscientist on the cusp of realizing his life’s goal of making neural uploading a reality.

Fans of Sci-Fi, rogue AI, and heart-pounding Adventure are in for a delicious treat with this one, my friends. A few chapters in, and already I can attest to that.

It launches on March 15th, but if you want to make sure you get it promptly, head on over to Amazon and pre-order your copy any time!  https://amzn.to/3r2MMUx

This first book in the Beyond the Horizon Line series will keep you on the edge of your seat. That’s a promise!

THANK YOU FOR READING
I wish you Miracles.

I’m cheering for March as I watch the miracle in my gardens of new growth after a devastating freeze.

Aww, you do well by cheering March along. One needs to be bold to want to make an appearance this ‘month’ — March is #extraordinary sane to try.

Spring Marches On >> Ms. Spring has her foot on the stair. And has her hands loaded with #miracles for the gardens. She’s even defiant of that freeze last month. (She knows better) Three cheers for March! And for you, Kathryn, a warm hug, my friend.

Thanks for stopping. Comments mean the world to me. Won't you please leave one?
