I’ve written a Badger Hexastich for Word Craft: Prose and Poetry, where the month’s theme is:
Memories: sweet & sour
Write your syllabic poetry based on memories: sweet & sour, which means your poetry must contain these concepts. Be creative. Remember, more than one stanza of the shorter syllabic forms will give you more room to expound. Have fun!
The Badger Hexastich is:
- a poem in 6 lines.
- syllabic, 2/4/6/6/4/2.
- unrhymed, optional rising and falling end-words.
- add a title for impact.
Hope you enjoyed it. Photo by Matheus Bertelli on Pexels.com.
Thanks for reading, and as always, I wish you miracles.

Have a lovely day, Ingrid. Mine was spectacular already. Good night. 👋 😚
I grew up in cities… kept going to smaller towns. Now I know I’d miss the sky if I had to go back to a large city.
You miss that sky! I tell you. xoxo thanks for reading, Jules.
Once I stayed in the city… in a corner hotel room – and only saw that X of sky… I almost felt clostraphobic! But like anything we need to adapt. 🙂
