cosmic your essence
even tucked beneath ashen clouds
when unconcealable, you shine
like happiness that’s
insuppressible
common weeds around
iridescent macrocosm
under the moonlight
silent yet dramatic
still my chaotic emotions
moon waves slow dance on the sleepy water-- tousling wind from sleep rouses swells like an eager lover syncing as her mirror grows the snitch stars turn blind eyes to the lovers below lovelight elongates, spills, touching the shoreline Moon and Water enraptured gaining momentum, they grow in distance-- she heeds her reflection and gathering her skirt ascends higher -- miracle laden radiant, she peaks with resounding love moans engendering awe and adoration from the heavens and mere mortals below © selmamartin.com

Um, yeah, I did it again. I managed another recording of my voice. And this time,
er, added music– that’s me practicing one tune over and over on the piano.
I hit play on the already recorded piano practice on my iPad,
read tanka from this post on my laptop,
and recorded the whole thing on my iPhone as the moon looked on.
It got a little busy and long. I hope you enjoyed this second homemade-100%-heart
creative-endeavor I put together for you.
Last week’s recording was barely 48 seconds long. If you missed it, here it is
again.
Please wait for the third one next Thursday.
Thank you
Thanks for being here, dear friends. May the year’s climax melt your heart with
warmth and inward restoration to enjoy stress-free holidays wherever you are.
Thanks for your readership and encouragement; you make this all worth it.
With a heart overflowing with gratitude,
I wish you miracles. Xo, Selma.
