To get to happily ever after
 one ought to start with right now
 heed to the farcicality of flatulent milieu
 feelings, habits, thinks, values

 of those that lead to nowhere
 abandon and don't look back
 embrace the few that provoke laughter
 keep them accessible for now and hereafter

 stay seeped in them capriciously
 until with purity, you turn the bend
 learn to subsist with fewer than more
 stand back to watch your happiness soar

 for on the road to happily ever after,
 joy is what matters the most
 to not live with randomnesses that come and go
 you ought to hold on to some and learn to let go

 search and you'll see-- now is all that you have
 and each now is never again to return
 and until then, it's sure to go unnoticed
 unaware that you lived it but never owned it

 how capricious is the one who thinks
 that happily ever afters are not attainable
 to them come dwindling dawns, but never a morning
 dawns that start and end with nevermores and complaining

 so if you feel your lips and toes a-curling
 that's how you'll know an ever-now is materializing
 then that now will latch onto your center
 and remain there for a day and forever

 kiss the hand that brings you
 radiant sunsets in large, sturdy mugs
 the one that makes your nows
 brim over with rhymes and silly prose

 value the lived-in simplicity of a shared moment
 stand firm with soul ajar, ready to give back,
 never squander on life on autopilot
 for you are the true guardian of your lot

 so, to never miss the subtle spark that lives in small moments
 make sure your soul is indwelled in the present and always open
 the moments will walk in, and you'll know what I know now
 a sense of joy in ordinary nows--reason enough to indulge...
 for a happily ever after, leave capriciousness behind, take the plunge.
