40 Poems At 40 By Ingrid Wilson Gets One More

My Amazon Review for a Fantastic Book of Poetry

This is not the first time I’ve purchased a book by this author. As an enthusiast of the
written word and passionate about material on the environment and ways to learn how
to do the right thing for our planet, I first came upon Ms. Wilson’s first book, an
anthology, “The Anthropocene Hymnal. Songs of a Self-defining Era.” Wow, the
caliber of talented poets was readily evident to me. That book got me all teary-eyed in
how I related to the things the authors described in their world. All of them.

But when I read the poem entitled “Leave a Light Footprint” by Ingrid Wilson, I knew
then that this was someone whose words I wanted to continue to read. My soul
connected with Ingrid Wilson’s work, and so I followed the author.

And now, she has published a solo book, and I couldn’t be happier. 40 Poems at 40
by Ingrid Wilson has my respect. I took my time reading this one, delved deep, and
found more about the human behind the lovely words. The poetry collection pleased my
heart, and my respect grew knowing how she went from self-loathing to self-acceptance and how that gave her the confidence to put her words out there for other people who
might also be going through similar situations.

I was especially touched by the poems about the sea– tremendously, but equally moved
by “Poem to My Children,” “Solstice of The Heart,” and “Holding Up The Sky.”

40 Poems at 40 by Ingrid Wilson is not as long as the first one, but there’s no doubt
that it’s equally satisfying. But you’ll just have to purchase it to find out for yourself.

I highly recommend this book and the one that I mentioned first. I bought the paperback on both books, and I’m happy to see and touch them to continue feeling connected to
the aura of the author. I will continue to support this author going forward. Satisfied
customer in Japan.

Thanks for reading.

Note: Way to go, Ingrid. Some kind of wonderful, girl. I bless you. This book review still
needs to show up on the Amazon website. Let’s all wait for it.

And if the end of the war comes before that in Eastern Europe, I will be the happiest.
In the meantime, I wish you miracles.

To tears? Aww, like you did to me, then. And the words are true.
This morning, I saw the review was up. Yay.
But upon rereading (and I reread before publishing already) I noticed that anthropology should be an anthology. 🤦🏻‍♀️
I edited it on Amazon website and they took it back down. Darn!
      Anyway… it’s almost here…
And peace? What happened to peace in EU? That’s coming next. I know.
It was my pleasure, dear Ingrid. I bless you.
