Hello everyone. Here to participate in Colleen Chesebro’s wordcraft poetry #TankaTuesday #tastetherainbow, where this week we’re challenged to choose
our own syllabic form and a color.
“But, this week, along with a color, add some weather to your poem,” said Colleen,
and added, “you can find some ideas HERE.”
Living through tussore-silk thunderclouds after the fatal shooting of Former Prime
Minister Shinzo Abe, as you might have heard on the news. A sad day that though
sunny, had the sun taken away from us today.
I’ve chosen the Abhanga form: written in any number of 4-line stanzas with
6-6-6-4 syllables each. L2 & L3 rhyme. The poem needs a title.
I hope it conveys my message.

Always a horrid affair when the good ones are taken from us. 🙁
Indeed, Jules. We are horrified… be well. Blessings.
Horrid when there are random shootings and innocents are in the crossfire too. 🙁
