Amazon says:
What is your truth? What is your secret? What secrets are you keeping from the world that you hope one day you will be brave enough to tell? When will you tell your heart? All The Words I Kept Inside allows you this moment.
This collection of poetry urges you to look deeply inside and confront your darkest thoughts. It takes that inner dread, disappointment, and heartache to reveal the words of the heart. This book will show you that you are not alone. That you are understood. That you don’t have to go through these dark moments on your own because so many of us experience them too. The words found inside will reach out a hand and guide you.
This is your moment.
This is your truth that you’ve never told anyone.
The words see you.
From the very earliest moments, the words know…
“All the words I kept inside
In you, I now confide…”

Selma Says:
Courageous reflections: short and poetic, sad yet sunny.
At the start of All The Words I Kept Inside by P.J. Gudka, the author tells me that she
has poured her heart and soul into these poems for the past four years (of working on
this book). “I laid bare the deepest and darkest corners of myself. These poems are not
always uplifting but they are my truth. These truly are all the words I kept inside for all
my life. I’m finally ready to share them.”
That testament endeared this author to me.
I’ve listened to a couple of podcast interviews conducted by Author P.J. and must
confess I find the podcaster and author of the book two different humans. This is
encouraging: I sigh relieved at this evolution in this beautiful human.
Once I started reading P.J. Gudka‘s collection I felt I stepped into a dark room where I
literally choked, drowning in the airless composition of the short poems. The Author
told me so much in such short form, so I sent her healing graces through the airwaves.
- I no longer fear going to hell/Because now I fear/That I’m already in it//
- The monsters were never under my bed/ They were always inside my head/
And they follow me everywhere I go/ Trying to pull me down below//
I wiped my own tears, completed the book, and have since reread it several times.
I believe this book will do something similar to you as you read.
By the end of the book, something like The Beatles’ “Here Comes The Sun” lingered.
So all in all, I’m hopeful.
Thanks for writing this book, Ms. Pooja. I learned so much. And I’m now praying harder
for everyone who struggles to live life. I’d put my forehead on the floor and not get up
until all the people who struggle with battling demons are healed completely.
- Crying For Help- Tears roll down my eyes/ I quickly wipe them away/ I look around
to make sure/ No one noticed/ A part of me wishes/ Someone did//
I notice …
Please notice her, everyone, and lend her your support. I highly recommend this
courageous author who has dared to share her innermost reflections in such a
beautiful book. A five-star rating from me. Very satisfied.

Delighted you read it Destiny. Bless you.
I just finished reading Pooja’s book and will post my review on August 26th. I concur with your thoughts and feelings!
Dawn, you’re one busy lady. Call the nurse in you to remind you how to slow down. I might be saying too much with this comment: I’m mostly speaking to myself—I need the reminder to laze around often or I explode. Take care my sweet. You rock. I’m sure Pooja will be so happy to find another review. You’re good to your word—I know. Bless you.
(You read the newsletter. Thanks so very much 🤗)
Oh yeah. It’s my utmost pleasure my lovely. My utmost pleasure. The least I can do for you. Nice cover.
Wish I had your energy. You are amazing and by now you must have the book publishing thing down to second nature. You wow me. Bless you.
Oh, Selma, it was so sweet of you to include me in your August newsletter! I appreciate it very much! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, I truly appreciate your kind words about my book. I’m so glad the poems resonated with you, especially the ones you shared here. I think it’s definitely a very different side of me than the one most people see on my blog. But one I really wanted to share. And thank you for leaving the review on Amazon as well, that helps so much. And I’m also excited to read your book too!
My pleasure. I wish you every success.
Excited to read my book? Thanks for that. I hope you find it enjoyable from start to finish.
All the best in all your endeavors. 🤗
Thank you so much and wishing you the same with your endeavours 🤗
What a beautiful, heartfelt review, Selma. I have Pooja’s book and I can’t wait to read it. It’s wonderful that she finally put her words into print. Congrats to Pooja. ❤️
I’m happy for her too. I hope those pesky monsters under her bed and head never return. One needs to expose them for them to disappear once and for all. Monsters love to be “the secret of secrets one never talks about” Not anymore once their presence is revealed. Methinks. I hope that’s what happens here.
Congrats to Pooja for this cleansing. Good to have this book out. May her success be huge. Hugs.
Thanks for reading and commenting Lauren. Bless you. 🤗
