At The Skeptic’s Kaddish Website, David ‘ben Alexander’ Bogomolny has a superb offer to provide a platform for guest writers: a poetry partnership. He features one guest poem weekly on or before Shabbat (the Jewish Sabbath, which runs from Friday night to Saturday night) in Israel (UTC+02:00).
“‘Poetry Partners’ is not merely about publishing guest poetry; it’s about seeding potential future creative partnerships,” says David.
In addition to providing a platform for his guests, David composes and publishes personal poems inspired by each featured piece.
“These poetic responses may take any form and may borrow imagery or language from featured guest poems,” he adds.
Wow, right?
It was to this generous offer that I submitted, and on Friday, December 10th, I had the tremendous honor of being featured at The Skeptic’s Kaddish. {Thanks so much, David. You rock.} So today, I wish to invite you, my readers, to take a peek.
The Hunt or: The Soul Sea
Poetry Partners #12

And he responded as A villanelle by ben Alexander of ‘The Skeptic’s Kaddish’
His first lines:
Yearning, seek within thyself In bowels deepest, such calm Where soul sea laps distant shelf Past forests green lies rock shelf The views from which, tender balm Yearning, seek within thyself ...

Thanks for reading, my friends.
I wish you a stress-free December, full of gratitude and merriment.
To you, who celebrate Christmas in December,
Merry Christmas, Happy Christmas, Happy Holidays.
And if Christmas is not your cup of tea,
I wish you Happy/Super/Joyous December Celebrations
for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice,
the new secular HumanLight,
and any festival or tradition you celebrate
during the month.
And as always,
I wish you miracles.
