Poetry: Crystals At Their Core

smooth, swollen, and scoured
like pebbles in river beds
memories I hold dearly
populate my head

one or two are disfigured—
rough, metamorphic, and worn
larger-grained and ponderous;
might have crystals at their core

those I remember strongly
takes the struggle of two to smoothen
it matters not how far they traveled
but what they bring to river basins

        Thanks,Selma ☺️ happy too ! 💐 Bee describes a girl who is a good friend and a good person. Bumblebees can sting multiple times, but they do not form swarms like honey bees
