The well-nigh noon sun, brimful on my back vies for regard against dark, blue-gray sky wind tousles my hair, cartwheels on the walk lilts golden leaves, whispers to them a rhyme flaming on sidewalk, gold & reds necks crane rising to the blue-- high they levitate in their cavalcade, gusts of sticky rain soon dispeople streets, beg them not be late swiftly as they rose, leaves come tumbling down gray sky turns azure, dazzling orange sun. Surfing mountain peaks-- Papagayo clown? Or Chinook winds with mercurial horn? flowing through stern-wild then turning gentle-- oriental clime. Is it coincidental? © 2022 selmamartin.com

All clime now I think is becoming “oriental” – delicious and too wild. Some startling imagery and wording here apt for your theme. (PS, Thanks for the high five on earthweal’s 100th open link weekend. Much appreciated and thanks for participating …)
Lovely to read this wonderful sonnet from you, Selma ❤️😊🤩
Thanks, dear Ingrid. xoxo.
I’m sure you did this on purpose, Selma – and I love how the words ‘oriental’ and ‘coincidental’ play off one another phonetically! So good!

Sorry you felt the comment disappeared. And for returning to make sure it stuck. I love you for that.
It must have been a moment’s glitch. No worries. I’ll take them both graciously.
