Masticadores: Bemused And Amused About Things I Can Lift Now

(WAS BEMUSED)>> AMUSED ON THINGS

A young woman walked by
me the other day;
a day full of vim,
and I, full of vigor

she balanced a beer keg
on either shoulder
and smiled as she strode,
a straight candleholder

my brows pulled my head back,
I looked at the sky
wondering: was there
something I could not lift

the thought...

Dear readers, I’d be so honored if you’d continue reading
the rest of this poem at MasticadoresUSA

my poem now has a lovely nesting place.

Thanks dearly, Editor Barbara Harris Leonhard.
