It Won’t be May Forever #TankaTuesday #Poetry

Soon after the storm
chased April chills far away
beaut Coriolis--
Zephyr's sweet breath blew in May
lured more leaves to come to play

In spring, all is new
seasonal mirth once a year
in birds, grass, vigor
things rejoice in youth and love
all around fecundity

But youth is transient
lasting but for one season
west-wind blows again
leaving behind the lessons
it won't be May forever

I’m wishing you a beautiful May. Spring is my favorite time of year. I love watching spring bring new life to the budding trees, greening of the grass, hope for newly planted gardens, the smell of soil, and poems like yours.

☺️ isn’t May just the best! I’ve always felt this way. In my next newsletter I kinda-sorta tell you why it’s so for me. 😉 Please read. I’m wishing you a lovely spring season, my lovely Diane. Thanks for the support and love you show me. Sending you lots back. Be well, my lovely. I wish you miracles.

Spring is definitely a time for new things. Goslings, the first small brood has hatched. And I think the nest in the eaves of my porch have some young ones, though I’m not sure who they are – probably house wrens. I’ve also been moving some plants around to different locations. Most of the yard is open, but I have several small flower gardens as well as some veg in a raised garden by the house. While the daffodils, hyacinths, and forsythia are gone, the Azalea, and asters are blooming – I await large iris and Tiger Lily 😀

So much life in your corner of the world. Lovely. Thanks for sharing that with me. Be well, Jules. I wish you more miracles.

Insurance isn’t big on you allowing birds to nest in your eaves. But I’ve got possibly a house wren in the eve of my porch – and I believe the little ones are chirping to be fed! 🐣🐤🐥
