Goodness! Some people… the same blog post—repeat and repeat.
    I feel sorry… get a life!
Thanks for seeing me, Jen. You are a blessing here.
I usually don’t let minor things get to me, but this is going on for too long already. I wish ‘those people’ would stop it.
    Blessings.

Have you tried sending an email to WordPress? Maybe they can help stop this?

      1. Selma Martin

        No 😔 not this time.
I don’t think WP can control that.
They’ll tell me to block those websites, but that only blocks
        comments.
Those ‘bloggers’ want like for like.
        I don’t do that!
Thanks for standing by me. XoXo

I don’t get those pretend “bloggers”. Blogging is supposed to be fun. It’s not about “likes”. Anyway, you are very welcome, Selma

What a waste of your time and their effort!

        1. Selma Martin

Exactly. And Sadje, one cannot give more than one like at a time to one post. So to do it repeatedly they need to unlike first. How tedious. Craving attention 🤦🏽‍♀️

          1. Sadje

Oh! I hadn’t thought of that.

Yeah..had that about a month ago. They were relentless. I was quite annoying. I blocked them eventually. But they poped up again. Eventually I they they got fed up of me not responding.

You interacted with them? You are much kinder than me. It’s annoying and sad at the same time.

      Thanks for commenting.

what is wrong with people that this is how they use their time and get a kick out of it?

  5. trE

Oops. Could be glitches, could not be, also. Either way, this is powerful!

    1. Selma Martin

trE if it’s a glitch- darn technology, I’ll say and raise a fist. For people to waste time like this, 🤦🏽‍♀️ Pitiful? Hope there’s value in that …
      Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

They may be used to doing this with other social media sites like Facebook.

    1. Selma Martin

I wouldn’t doubt that they are. How annoying! Poor people with too much time in their hands. Thanks, Maria. for reading the short post/story xoxo

Sometimes its hard to understand people’s behavior. I shake my head and send up a prayer. Thanks for commenting Diana. blessings on your new day. xoxo Remember the m00n tonight.

  7. That’s weird, Selma, and what a waste of time. I get a lot of people who like 25 of my posts and then follow me. I’m not following just anyone anymore after 11 years of blogging. Is that what they want? One more follower? I’m just not into the numbers, but I guess many are. 🙂 xoxo

Those people are not my fave in the blogging world. They come and drop like after like or sometimes just ask outwardly: I liked your post, please like mine and then they drop a link. I don’t know–That is too pushy. I appreciate comments and engagement. And if that works, then we go from there. I do not look at numbers. I want engagement.
Thanks for reading and commenting, Lauren. I appreciate YOU>

Oh yes!!!!! I know what you mean and for the ones that will like 20 post inless than a minute and then hit the follow button. Ughhhh!
I would rather have 5 followers that read my article than 100’s of spam likes.

      Uughh indeed. As if…
They haven’t found their purpose! What a way to ruin a moment. Pitiful!
Bella, thanks for being this sweet with your comments. I can barely keep my head above water sometimes and with a fraction of the audience you have. But I do what I CAN DO and appreciate your lovely support. Blessings, dearie. Stay as you are.
