Indeed it is. I wouldn’t be caught because I have my values straight. I would never do such stupidness as paying for likes and such. My values are my compass everywhere even in a place like Instagram. Thanks Melissa.

I left The Gram last June. I do not miss it.
I choose to remain because I (think) I need one other platform besides WP. If you don’t miss it you did the right thing. I don’t miss IG as it’s not a limb.

I feel like much of social media is really in a state of flux right now, I’m sure it’s nothing you did, I had a few of my blog posts banned from Facebook recently, one about popcorn, the other about losing my glasses, the third was about being banned for these things.
I said I’d do nothing but I did when I wrote this post 🤦🏽♀️ so they did put ants in my pants. 😆

As much as I like to complain about Meta and encourage friends to leave it, this appears to be a run-of-the-mill SCAM, so I hope that you did NOT do anything like visit that website or attempt to comply with anything!! (If you did send them anything – ID, password, etc. – immediately log into instagram and CHANGE YOURS. (Facebook, too, for good measure!)

I’m sorry that happened to you, Selma. I’m not active on Instagram. I have nothing to lose. One time someone impersonated me. I couldn’t get them to delete the fake account. Three friends did a print screen, and sent it to me. I forwarded it to them. I think they finally did something.
Sorry to hear this, Selma – I’m sure all of these things are decided by A.I., and it’s only going to get worse…
How strange. They don’t ban the people who actually do this but would ban the law abiding citizens.

IG were most unhelpful.
Oh no, that’s so awful. I’ve seen so many actual spammers on there or bots that don’t get banned but yet I’ve noticed multiple real accounts get banned recently.
This is crazy, and yet, being a part of Meta, I thought they no longer cared who was posting nor what they posted. We’re considering leaving all of Meta’s platforms because of this. Maggie
