The many-leaved letter, dropped in your yard.
Of course you did—and there’s no
doubt—they’re all signed by God.
Even the driver with the interrogating
thumb got one.
He seems satisfied, happy.
And so now he’ll go to watch more stand
waving at the grave of his beloved. And
he’ll loafe there—in the grass, celebrating,
laughing and singing. Loafing. Like me.

🤭 I always knew you are this funny. But forgive me girlfriend. Not like a loaf of bread. 😆 . 🤣 that would have been too plebeian for Mr. Whitman. I understand that Walt Whitman means to “spend time in idleness.” Idleness dear Sista! Not eating bread 🤣 you see?
Furthermore, I read it somewhere that this art of loafing has quacker roots. (Now I don’t know how to spell quacker but know these were kind people. How do you spell Quacker?

I don’t know what I’m doing differently than everybody else.
