Great Wisdom You Can Steal From The Lighthouse

A Poem

Lighthouse in tranquil morning
might be seen in serene sea
Standing pensive, patient, sapiential–

Does the sea belong to it?

Lighthouse in tempestuous winds
might be seen in restless seas
Standing buoyant– sentient being

It belongs to mercurial seas.

Keep your cool when life seems boring
Stay calm and optimistic
When human relationships and
Tumultuous emotions confound you
Anchor in lessons learned but forgotten,
Pivot and wait for clarity—
like a lighthouse that knows its role
and connection to greater things.

… as only after your eyes get used to the way things are in the twilight,
can you appreciate how complete your story is.
