halos of gray mist
like flags of supplication–
the brilliance of dawn
dyed in evanescence,
soaked in the balm of nature

A Little Extra:
Nothing Gold Can Stay
BY ROBERT FROST
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

You reminded me of one misty morning I saw a full rack buck in my neighbors yard… a magical moment.
I’ve also seen a fox trodding through a winter’s snow in the moonlight in my own back yard!
Oh…for just a tad bit of relief from the humidity. 🙂
Be well dear Jules. Autumn is around the corner now.
