Don Miguel Ruiz on The Word and Integrity #poetry #quotes

Dreams, feelings, your core
Manifested through the word
Magic: Black-magic

Mind, its fertile ground
Put a spell: Release from spell
Plant the seed. It grows.

In the Wisdom Book, A Toltec – The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, the first agreement is ‘Be impeccable with Your Word’ (p. 25).

“The first agreement is the most important one and also the
most difficult one to honor. It is so important that with just
this first agreement you will be able to transcend to the level
of existence I call heaven on earth.” ~ Don Miguel Ruiz.

BainyQuote

“In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word is God.” ~The Gospel of John 1:1

A placard that lists the ‘things’ that Love Is. The answers are many, handwritten with positive replies. Love is Everything.

The word is the force–
a powerful tool, a magical tool.
If misused it can create a hell on earth,
it can enslave.
If abused it can manipulate and destroy,
and even generate fear.

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.” ~Don Miguel Ruiz.

It’s been a while since I read this book. Thanks for the reminders to “Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.” I like the connection with the Bible.
