Dectina Refrain: Free Bush Candelabra

💡 enflaming me with chutzpah, W3 💡

Torch
Aloe,
you grand bush
candelabra
free to the bees, birds
and moon glow—nature skilled
you with conical spikes to
brighten a lethargic garden;
alone I sit breathing your chutzpah
Torch Aloe, you grand bush candelabra.

*

Torch
Aloe,
you, free bush
candelabra
nature endowed you
with chandelier charms that
enliven a fatigued heart.
It’s unfortunate that today
no one visits to luxuriate.
Torch Aloe, you, free bush candelabra.

(because if I don’t , no one else will 😉)

On July 2023, I contributed a few verses in a book of poetry that went on to do better than I anticipated.

In The Shadow of Rainbows: A Collection of Songs of Presence, Publisher Experiments In Fiction, Photographer Kathryn A. LeRoy.

Thanks a million to everyone who lent support to make this experience an unforgettable one. I bless you.

Will. Will. From afar now as the little trio is far now. They brought so much light that I found the jewel residing within me. Unforgettable, Maggie. 🤗

Selma, I love how you brought the Torch Aloe to life with such vibrant imagery. The way you describe its strength and beauty, both in nature and its connection to the world, is so powerful.

BTW, do you still want to avoid become the PoW for W3?
