Dectina Refrain: Ah! How Many Things!

How
many
things were left
to see before
he came and took you?
I circle 'round and I
see you waiting at the bend
—I stare besotted, inhaling
your charm as you show me what I missed...
How many things were left to see before!

passes into other loveliness,
Star-dust, or sea-foam, flower or winged air.”

My friends, you’re aware of my devastating loss early this spring when my Lilly was
taken away much too early. Well, I’ve been seeing far too many butterflies–a sure
sign that my friend’s still near–and each time nice happy memories arise to warm
my insides. I had yet to invoke those memories to keep me going:

Ah! The things left to see.

Well, I just felt a need to explain my poem today.

Blessings to all. Particularly to Cara Mia in NY who introduced me to this addictive
poetry form.

Stay in the shade, everyone.
Happy Summering!

Get as much of it as you can;
it’s goING GOing soon now…
(I can’t wait)

      She is.
Her family sent me one item of clothing that she loved. (I asked for it) so I feel her really close. Living it. 🤗
