Ok, dear sweet hearts, I prepared for you a 6-lined Gogyohka, which I wrote
specifically for Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge No. 281 at Word Craft, where
the photo to inspire us is provided by Willow this week for Ekphrastic poetry.
It’s a lovely photograph, but after spending way too much time trying to add
the photo to this post, I’m giving up and adding one of my own from pixabay.
Sorry, Willow and Colleen.
I’ll still add it to Mr. Linky as I intend. Please let me
know if I’m best to take it elsewhere.

Happy Summer 2022, everyone. Please don’t forget to count your blessings.
Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed my words and photograph.

No worries.
A lovely one Selma. 💕
🙏
Oh, Selma, very evocative images of my childhood! Beautiful! <3
It is beautiful. You know that I used it in place of the week’s photo prompt photo I couldn’t get to work for me. It was very late when I was trying to do that then chose the easy Pixabay way out. Was gonna try again but now I might just leave it as is.
Si glad it spoke to you, Cheryl.
Blessings. Happy Summer…
Beautiful visions of my childhood are evoked in this lovely poem, Selma! <3

Hi Selma I really love your Gogyohka and the photo it is amazing, is it somewhere in Europe. You have caught the essence of the statue and the prompt, very clever.💜
I’m so happy you liked it Willow. Sorry I couldn’t make YOUR photo to work. I struggle so much with photos yet that doesn’t stop me from wanting to participate. Be well dearie. You know— Summertime!

💖
Yup. It’s the little things we remember always and forever.
Happy Summering, Cindy.
Yes indeed and to you Selma! 💖
Everytime I water my raised garden and see the bees… I thank them. I’ve gotten enough cucumbers to have paid for the plant! 😉
With the house in disarray, I’ve not gotten to reply to your last letter. I hope to work on it soon – Thank you!!
No pressure, dear one. Summers are for spending days daydreaming. I bless you.
Looking up at the sky (while traveling) I was playing ‘What shape is that cloud’ – I saw a koi fish and thought of you 🙂
Aww. Made me smile. I’m thinking of you now too. Stay sweet.
