Dandy Dancers Break Through Concrete To Awaken My Spirit

Distracted, I walked the city streets
to bask in its hustle and bustle
when a butterfly flew by to alert me
of dandy jazz dancers lined on the concrete wall

Their yellow heads fluttered rhythmically
with every step of the passersby
I gazed with glee at their dance moves —
sunned, primed, yet still undiscovered

Aware that I had found the jewels
amongst crowds of busy weekend shoppers,
I tucked the image into my mind’s pocket
and promptly took my find back home with me

Now when I lie content on my day couch
to think of things that make me happy
I unwrap the image of my jazz flowers,
thank the sun and rain that raised them
and then I dance with my dandy dancers

A purely ornamental heading for this post. A green heart.

The lesson:
Even wandering through industrialized concrete jungles, one can find a spiritual
moment to remind us of our connections with more important things. Nature is
our way back to the divine. Bask in that knowledge.

Nature is main path which one-self if fully awake will naturally take to in turn in time guide the one-self..

But if the one-self isnt fully awake in time one-self risks in time how one-self perceived natures calm..

I love this ode to jazz flowers! Wonderful 🙂 I adore dandelions and how they thrive. They are nature’s determination to survive. And the bees, the bees, we need them to carry on. Love the photo too <3
