Chances Are, You’re The Reason For The Celebration #encouragement #life

“Corrective learning begins with
the awakening of spirit and the turning away
from belief in physical sight.”

~A Course In Miracles.

CELEBRATING LIFE
No More Sleepwalking For Life Is Not A Dream

When life is lived with something less than awe and exaltation
Things are never quite what they appear to be
If the awoken sleepwalk mourning through life’s seasons
And the drowsed sleepers awake to a plexiglass dreamlike state

For a slumbering soul ain’t ever been heard of
And no dying dream a full life e’er could fulfill
Life is precious when it is lived fully awoken
Despite tribulations, sorrows, pain, and change

This Life is real and please, make no mistaking
That another is the purpose of this phase
A funeral march is no cause for celebration
If the living leaves no reason to dance and commemorate

Just as great men, their lives are still remembered
Footprints saluted, minds sought after, lessons ledgered
Long after they’ve been departed from this life
So can you if you stop all that sleepwalking
Live with reverence, this life that to you has been bestowed

Live it bravely in creativity, honesty, and gratefulness
For no other will ever show you Heaven or its gates
Value this one, live it as a celebration
To honor courage and integrity
For the privilege to live for today.

“The world is only in the mind of its maker. Do not believe it is outside of
yourself.

“Heaven is not a place or a condition. It is merely an awareness of perfect

still.”
