Built Upon A Single Note: A San-San

Funny how some hip people simply talk and talk and talk
Exhausting all the easy scales and saying nothing smart
We sashay onto the dance floor and sway to a single note
ReMiFaSoLaTiDo warming ever to our sweet squawks
We better stay with the single note that our hearts impart
Anyone who wants the whole show best ReMiFaSoLaTiDo
A consequence of easy strokes–easy to quote the note
A little samba built upon a single note ReMiFaSoLaTiDo

Thanks so much for tolerating me 😃: I want you to know this San-San was
so hard to come to fruition—lots of hair-pulling. It gave me a good workout.
Please click on the link and try it out too.

I hope you enjoyed it, or at least that you liked the choice of music I wrote to.
Thanks for reading, my friends.

Selma, I so love how you’ve used repetition to emphasize your theme of authenticity amidst a cacophony of superficiality… It’s really effective!

You did a great job Selma, both with the form and in reflecting this very danceable (and hummable) tune. (K)
