I declare world peace.
I declare world peace.
I declare world peace.
Like you, I never thought I’d be living through something like what I heard about the
war in Aleppo.
Like you, I am fed up with watching more atrocities committed by Russian soldiers against neighboring Ukraine.
Like you, I cannot believe this invasion has been a sad reality for this long.
And just like you, I continue declaring world peace and praying in the same calm manner I learned to pray as a child. In earnest. And sometimes, tears roll down.
Dear friends, prayer is not the extra wheel we unveil when times are bad. Prayer is that wheel we need to see us through on this journey. Without it, we are stuck. It’s The Tool to employ at all times to banish injustices that sprout up everywhere. Let’s wear the armor and wrestle against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
The Whole Armor of God
“10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ephesians+6&version=NKJV
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the [b]wiles
of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
And let’s also wear the armor close to home and bring peace and balance; end the
disparity.
I call it prayer as that is what I know it as. I call my higher power, God, because that’s
what I know it as. If you’re uncomfortable calling it that, please substitute my word for
yours and continue to wear the armor.

Thanks for reading.
May peace find us all, and may miracles, aplenty, befall us.
May despots’ proclivity for taunts, greed, and power cease to be. May peace prevail in every corner of the world. Amen.
