Hotel de los corazones rotos–The hotel of broken hearts
Hello, my precious Readers. Every day brings me more instances that make my cup
run over with gratitude. I’m grateful to J.Re Crivello, editor-in-chief of Gobblers &
Masticadores, Barcelona, Spain, and The Hotel of Broken Hearts, for publishing my
poem in his lovely online literary magazine.
Is today Monday? Wednesday? Friday? Why–It’s Fri-yay!
It’s All Transcendental is a short poem to remind you that no matter the day of the
week, every day is precious as every day comes with new possibilities.
And if you pause to pay attention—to your breathing, a sound, a scenery—you just
might notice one miracle and then another.
Here are two of four stanzas of the poem:
Little bell, little bell
In the middle of the day
You made me pause for a moment
Just to listen
And in the pause I found my joy
Fired me up—made me whole
Showed me the miracle
That in my day had been missing
Had you not beckoned…
