Dulce De Cocoyol

I can land home in
a New York second.
Close my eyes, I see
sea, I see me, I see
your neck and smell
the entire sea at once.

I love the smell of
diesel from trucks too
–fruity and sweet like
Dulce de Cocoyol.
Reminds me of
the island ferry.
